Visitor Support - Thinktank

Birmingham Museums Trust are looking for Visitor Service volunteers who are passionate about early years education, play work and helping young children and families to actively discover the world around them.

If you are a friendly person with creative approach to early years activities, we would love we would love to have you join us.

We are extremely grateful for the time our volunteers dedicate to supporting us, and we really want to make sure we are giving all of our team as good an experience as possible. As a Birmingham Museums’ volunteer you will have:

• An induction with us before you start to get you ready to volunteer
• Access to ongoing role-specific training and support
• The opportunity to claim your travel expenses of up to £6.50 per day, in the hope that you won’t be left out of pocket as a result of giving us your time
• Access to our monthly newsletter which will keep you in the loop with all things volunteering

As a Visitor Services volunteer you will have the chance to gain early years education experience and help to bring science to life for our visitors. You will also gain knowledge of our science museum and develop your customer service skills
